The Guitar Competition
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen negative response, we decided to pass on putting together this year’s Guitar Competition. It was a tough decision, and we might even start it up again next year, but we’re going to take a break.
Thanks for everyone who made it fun though, and we hope it will continue again next year!
We’re so excited to be offering our Spring After School Beginning Guitar Classes –
This 8 week program is designed to introduce kids to the wonderful world of music through the use of guitar playing and learning how to critically listen to music. Our instructors work with the children and teens to promote learning and experiencing music without intimidation. The program concludes in early June with a short performance open to the public. The after school program is designed not only to be fun and exciting, but also to help the students develop a deepened sense of musical phrase, structure and form, as well as improve their performance skills.
Our sign up deadline is April 10th, and classes are filling up fast!

Better get your best fiddley-fiddley chops together, cause it’s gonna be a showdown.
Held again this year at the Graduate in SLO on October 27th from noon to 5pm, we’re gonna raise a ton of money for charity and rock out in the process.
Join us!
Sabroso, a hot, 11-piece salsa band featuring our own Bass Instructor Forrestt Williams, will be performing at Downtown Brew in San Luis Obispo.
We’re really looking foreward to this years recital. It’s your chance to see this area’s up-and coming talent, as well as our newer students to get over the much-dreaded ’stage fright’.
