Starr Family performace at Fall 06 Recital

Grand Central Music’s Fall 06 Recital. The Starr family all take lessons here, Brian, the Father, Tristan, Bass, and Mackie, Guitar. Mackie won the Guitar Competition in the 17 & under category 2 years ago as well.

Our Recital is always held at the Monday Club in San Luis Obispo. Our student performances are so numerous that we put together two shows, one at 5:30 pm and one at 7:30 pm. We’ll be getting our students ready and we look foreword to seeing you there.

Lesson Program Rules

Why take lessons from Grand Central Music?

- Optional Recitals twice a year

Here at Grand Central Music & Conservatory we pride ourself on our exceptional lesson facility and our highest quality guitar lessons available. The Conservatory is located in the rear of the store and is accessible after store hours from behind the store front.

We have 6 teaching rooms and 9 Instructors on hand for every style and level of musicianship. Each half-hour lesson includes private one on one instruction. Our custom built teaching rooms provide an optimal learning environment, and are equipped with amplifiers, cables, tuners, metronomes and accessories so that all you have to bring is your instrument and your folder.

Students are required to prepay one month of lessons at a time. Lessons will be scheduled weekly and are priced as follows:


Guitar/ Bass/ Piano/ Mandolin:
$23.75 per Half-Hour lesson. / $47.50 per Hour lesson

Monthly billing with 4 lessons per month:
$95 for 4 Half Hours / $190 for 4 Hours
Monthly billing with 5 lessons per month:
$118.75 for 5 Half Hours / $237.50 for 5 Hours


Woodwind/ Brass/ Drums/ Strings/ Vocals/ Banjo:
$25 per Half-Hour lesson. / $50 per Hour lesson

Monthly billing with 4 lessons per month:
$100 for 4 Half Hours / $200 for 4 Hours
Monthly billing with 5 lessons per month:
$125 for 5 Half Hours / $250 for 5 Hours

Registration Fee: A one time payment of $25 will be required at the time of student signup. This includes a Binder, Beginning Book, and Music Writing Paper.
