The Grand Central Philosophy
At Grand Central Music we know that there are lots of sources for great instruments. We sell great instruments and we provide outstanding lessons and repairs; but what really makes Grand Central special is our staff expertise. Pictures of instruments on the internet or quick blurbs in a catalog can’t help when you want to know how an amplifier will perform after five hours turned up to eleven. Where is the line between a microphone that provides the best sound quality and one that can stand up to a year on the road in the back of a van? What is the best use of your money to set up a home recording studio based specifically on the type of music you want to play and produce? Our store and conservatory is staffed entirely by musicians who collectively represent decades of live and recording experience across a wide array of musical genres and instruments. We believe that our success relies on developing customers, not on individual sales. There are no commissions and no pressure sales. We believe that if you know that you can rely on us for the best technical information and service that you’ll also rely on us for instruments, gear, lessons and supplies.
